Redeeming your rewards is very simple. If you place your order through the app, just go to the Rewards section, choose the item you want, and tap Add to Mobile Order. If you prefer to make your purchase at the restaurant or at the Drive-Thru, select your reward the same way, but this time choose Use at Restaurant to generate a 4-digit code. Give that code to the cashier before paying, and that’s it.
At the moment, it’s not possible to redeem rewards when placing a delivery order, so plan your visit accordingly to make the most of your points.
History of McDonald’s
In 1954, Ray Kroc had the opportunity to visit a small restaurant in San Bernardino, California, owned by brothers Dick and Mac McDonald. Although the place was simple, Kroc was amazed by the remarkable efficiency with which it operated.
