Walmart launched Scenario, a new women’s clothing and accessories brand aimed at strengthening its fashion business through bohemian-inspired designs and affordable prices. The debut collection features 280 products, including apparel, shoes, jewelry, handbags and accessories, with the vast majority priced under $25.
The company announced on August 27 that Scenario is now available at Walmart stores across the United States and on Walmart.com. The collection combines feminine silhouettes, vintage-inspired prints and rich textures with pieces designed for everyday wear.
The launch is part of a broader transformation of Walmart Fashion, a division that has launched or relaunched 15 private fashion brands over the past five years.

What is Scenario, Walmart’s new clothing brand?
Scenario is a Walmart-owned brand focused on modern bohemian women’s fashion. Its assortment includes blouses, printed dresses, denim, shoes, handbags and accessories featuring details such as fringe, tassels and artisanal-inspired finishes.
The company said the brand was developed based on research into its customers’ fashion preferences.
According to research cited by Walmart, nearly one in five women identifies “boho” as one of her top style preferences. The company saw an opportunity to translate a trend seen on runways and across social media into more affordable products.

“We are on a journey to democratize fashion because we believe everyone should have access to beautiful clothes, regardless of their budget,” said Denise Incandela, executive vice president of Fashion at Walmart U.S.
How much does Walmart’s Scenario clothing cost?
Price will be one of Scenario’s main selling points. The vast majority of its 280 items are priced under $25, although some products cost more.
Among the pieces highlighted by Walmart is a ribbed cotton T-shirt priced at $7.98, a sweatshirt for $14.98 and a ruffle-neck tank top for $14.98.
The collection also includes a smocked-waist midi dress for $27.98, a denim jacket with puff sleeves for $29.98, woven Mary Jane flats for $28.98 and a leather shoulder bag for $39.96.
With this combination, Walmart is seeking to bring a fashion-forward aesthetic to the mass market at accessible prices.

Walmart strengthens its fashion business with private brands
Scenario is not an isolated move. The company said that over the past five years it has launched or relaunched 15 private fashion brands, while investing in design and quality.
The strategy is becoming increasingly important to the retailer: private brands now account for more than half of Walmart Fashion sales, according to the company.
Scenario’s launch also shows how Walmart is seeking to compete beyond its traditional low-price positioning. The retailer wants design, trends and fashion to become additional reasons for consumers to shop at its stores and online.
With 280 products and most items priced below $25, Scenario represents the next step in that strategy: Walmart wants to show that the modern bohemian fashion seen on runways and social media can also reach the mass market without a premium price tag.
