Adaptation of the Remote Food Photography Method to Assess Infant Intake During Bottle‐Feeding of Ready‐to‐Feed Formula

We demonstrated the feasibility and accuracy of an adapted remote food photography assessment method for estimating the amount of ready-to-feed infant formula in bottles. We used image processing software to determine the area of formula in pixels from digital photographs of bottles with varying amounts of formula, then used these values to estimate bottle weight.
