Objective: This study aims to investigate the trajectories of GIEPEG in two phases, from 1996 to 2008 and from 2009 to 2023, and to recognize from an academic perspective the emerging approaches, engagements with new theories, perspectives, and practices, as well as the dialogue with the community, contributing to transformations through its research and various activities.
Originality/Contribution: This work highlights the research, teaching, and outreach experiences that expose patriarchal education and the discriminations that render the histories and knowledge of various societal sectors invisible. Academic spaces for debate were opened to rethink critical theories and investigative alternatives that contribute to social return.
Method: A qualitative perspective supported by a quantitative approach, guided by feminist viewpoints, human rights, and situated knowledge and experience.
Strategies/Data Collection: The study examined the trajectory by reviewing and analyzing archives, documents, research works, and narratives, as well as by exploring memories and experiences.
Conclusion: The study presents the achievements of some research projects, creating and promoting lines of inquiry on various topics in a dialogue of knowledge that involves the UPTC and its environment, with national and international projection. This has disrupted parts of curricula, generating educational and research proposals that reclaim feminisms, genders, intersections, human rights, memory, and peace, thereby enhancing their activities.
